Privacy Policy

On-device processing. Favvy processes everything related to your photos directly on your device. We do not upload, store, or have access to your photos, gallery, or any metadata about them.

Permissions. The app asks for access to your Photos so you can review and delete items. This permission is used only locally on your device. You can revoke it at any time in your device settings.

App analytics. To understand how the app is used and fix bugs, we use privacy-focused analytics provided by Countly. This may include anonymous, non-identifiable data such as device type, app version, crash reports, and general usage patterns. We do not collect your photos, identifiers that could identify you personally, or the content of your gallery.

Marketing measurement. We may use aggregated, anonymous analytics to measure the performance of our marketing campaigns on platforms like Meta and TikTok. This information cannot be used to identify you.

Purchases. Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Those stores handle billing data under their own privacy policies; we never see your payment details.

Cookie-free analytics. The Favvy website uses Umami Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics service. Umami collects aggregated, anonymous statistics such as page views, referrer, country, device type, and browser — without using cookies and without tracking you across sites. No personal data is collected and no user profiles are created.

Hosting. The website is hosted on Vercel, which may log standard request data (such as IP address and user agent) for security and performance purposes. These logs are retained only as needed to operate the service.

Contact forms and email. If you contact us by email, we will receive and process your email address and the content of your message for the sole purpose of responding.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: (a) our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving the Service (for anonymous analytics and hosting logs); (b) performance of a contract with you (to deliver features you request); and (c) compliance with a legal obligation, where applicable.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority — in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Because we collect very little personal data, most requests will simply confirm that we do not hold identifying information about you. To exercise any right, email us at contact@kaikulabs.com.

Favvy is rated 4+ on the App Store and is suitable for general audiences. However, the Service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and UK). If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Anonymous analytics are retained in aggregate form only. Hosting logs are retained for a limited period required for security and diagnostics. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to answer your request and comply with any applicable record-keeping obligations.

Some of our service providers (for example, Vercel, Countly, Umami, Meta, and TikTok) may process limited data outside the EEA. When that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

Because we do not store your photos or personal account data on our servers, the risk of a data breach involving your personal information is extremely low. We use industry-standard measures to protect the limited data we do process.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page always reflects the latest version. If the change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
